where I find my printer setting (MAC)

Everytime Cura gets an update the settings for all my printers are gone.

Not the slicer setting, the settings for the printer.

I got 3 printer profiles for different printers, and these are gone. Only one UM original is left.

Where can I find them? So that I can copy from my Time Machine Backup this settings. I don't want to make new printers and make new settings for those.

They are located in the .cura folder on Windows. ex: C:Users<username>.cura<cura version>current_profile.ini

I see some machine profiles if you right click on the cura app (MAC) and choose show package contents. Also I see that you can save the profiles from the main menu bar. Best to have a backup copy of those saved. So at worst you could just restore cura from Time Machine, open it up and save your profiles.

Ya I guess the profiles save option is probably for slicing and not for the machines.

Why cura copys the file to the new version?

They are in folders for the cura versions.

nothing there, no Cura folder.

in the hidden folder: ~/.Cura are all the versions up to 14.06-RC6 although I have almost every release after that.

How to reorganize this? Should I delete folders? Move them?

Plug ins Folder is in the hidden folder as well.

'Load profile from gcode' always returns with the error: 'No profile found, only works with versions by Cura 12.07 or newer'.

It's only publicly documented where they store the printer profiles on Windos.

I found the location of the Printer's Profiles for Mac.

Users > 'YourUserName' >Library > Application Support > cura > 'current # version of cura' > cache > definitions > 'current # version of cura'
