  1. Check the power budget settings. I had these issues to. Only change - decrease - the first setting I once started with a working setting like: 140W/170W/40W/40W (total/bed/heater1/heater2)
  2. I have a look at the gcode start sequence. The first priming is controlled there. @Tinkergnome, If you find the time could you make a short write up, on how Mark2 specific settings are derived from other settings and in what way. Like priming pos derived from wiping pos, default is .. Or toolchange speed/accel is derived from ... I know you answered the most questions already more than once, but it would save you a lot of time if we add some kind of cheat sheet to the documentation.
  3. I'm almost sure this is the one, single issue we've seen several times now. As soon as something hits the frame it won't work thereafter. Check two things: Make sure you got the latest version of the Cura definition files? There was an error with the initial start / prime positions in the first github version. Second, in the firmware check Dual extrusion - > wiping position and set the y value to something like 40 mm. We should try to find a solution for the latter one and for the occasional layer start xy "bug" in Cura. What do you think @Tinkergnome?
  4. Here you go ultiarjan, my first attempt after doing a re-cal of the head Printed at 0.15mm using Cura, which also is a learning curve for me as normally use S3D :( Has anyone got any suitable S3D config files available yet?? Would be handy I have ordered the new temp sensor and higher wattage heater as per the upgrade kit which will help when the 2nd head is required, but I think it works amazing - thank you and the other members of the team for your efforts <3 [url=] Andy I'm still amazed to see first ever dual prints of this quality.

  6. @TheFox, Sorry, did I miss your post? Can can get everything from me here in Munich.
  7. Maker's Muse tolerance text. The first print came out almost superb. No fighting with PETG for a comparable result.
  8. I did that, but you have to feel comfortable with drilling that big hole and producing a lot of Dibond debris.
  9. Extrudr TPU medium (white) and hard (black) printed on the Ultimaker Mark2 magnetic tool changer.
  10. The final verdict from @RudyG wich makes us more than happy So go ahead, take your chance to get the extrusion upgrade kit for free and showcase your ideas!
  11. True but there are some reasons. a) development history (the earlier designs of the dock were too bulky too mount to the left corner as they would interfere with the end stops) b) both bowden tubes / feeder positions would have to be re-arranged (otherwise the bowden of the parked head crosses the entire build area). And at least we've got the option for the Mark3 triple extrusion without loosing any additional build space. 8)
  12. Motst of the guys used greentec PLA from extrudr
  13. With either or or both you should be fine (up to my experience) If not just send the gcode file to @Tinkergnome. He always knows why (so far
  14. I think i will start with the UM pva, just to be sure i have the right stuff. You say keep it dry (in the past i already printed with PVA, without succes on a Leapfrog Creator, and in the end i left the roll in a zipbag, placed it in such a way the filament could be extracted out of the bag without tangling. Other solution i tried was measuring the length i needed + some extra, and unrolling that from the spool. You solution is better ofcourse. But where to find the sillicagel i sufficient volume? I more or less copied the UM3 pva settings (temp, speed, accel, jerk, retraction, cooling, support pattern, x/y/z distances, support interface) I've got some kilos of silica gel bags (each one 450 gr), enough for many years. If you need some, let me know.
  15. In Cura check: Travel->layer start x/y and set it to something like 100.0/50.0 Then you could activate the Mart2Tweaks Plugin. And use the S3D gcode viewer (still better display of movements) to check for weird moves to the borders of the printing area. There shouldn't be any except for the very first and very last layer.
  16. I think the only additional thing to do is setting different esteps for both extruders in the firmware menu: Advanced->Preferences->Motion settings->Axis steps/mm
  17. I think so. I also ordered Extrudr MF PetG for the first time yesterday
  18. If you've got well working settings for PC I see no reason against it. As for the flexible, something in the range of shore 95A is ok (and well printable). I'm using Formfutura's (which ia actually a Dutch copany) Flexifil.
  19. Cura has a ton of speed / acceleration / jerk settings for travel, infill, walls support etc. If you like you can activate these in the "manage printers - settings (speed section)" window and set your own values.
  20. Wall thicknesses etc. should work for SLS. Ofc the coupling could be one part instead of 3 then. I'm not sure how well the gluing (especially for the magnets) will work with nylon. But printing the parts really isn't difficult.
  21. Brilliant idea. I prepare something to show a Mark2 map with markers for devs and users. For the time being just post your latitude, longitude coordinates here. For the devs I'll ask in the beta forum.
  22. Francis van Hoi ... actually he's 67 not 76.
