It is a 2 not a 3 though - tweak rather than overhaul? - still, I am actually someone who likes evolution rather than revolution, but curious where fdm will find the next killer change and love the look of some of the multi print nozzles like the diamond, but honestly only have a need for it occasionally.

The things I still drool over are higher temp hot ends that print reliably with interchangeable nozzles - but I have 2 of those in the UMO.

Still looking forward to the announcement though!

I'm surprised they left those nasty metal clips on the glass, thats my least favourite thing about that machine. I hope support for the um 2 remains, or should i buy spares now, lol? Not too much changed then. I got mine a month ago, can i swap it? Knew this would happen, lol.

The clips are also different, they say it doesn't hurt now to take the glass away

UM2 will be replaced by the UM2+ and will no longer be sold soon. But as it's compatible i don't see why you should buy spare parts now (what spare parts do you have in mind?)

They are slightly re-designed with longer "levers". Trust me, it's a night and day difference even with such a small change.

lol its all good, i just use the back of my scalpel to prize it off now, i gave up using my fingers after one or two times and a split finger nail.

will you be able to buy the new fan shroud/quieter fans and extruder to essentially get the same thing as the +?
