How does the network printing work ?

Does it copy the gcode file to the printer first, then prints with the hardcopy stored in the printer, or

doest it continuously send bits of the gcode while it prints.

And is it possible to mount/share the USB drive to a networked computer so you can manage the files

remotely ?

The file is stored in memory of the printer, printing won't start before the whole file is there.

There is no option for remote file management, as we are not storing files on the printer.

What's the maximum memory for a gcode print? Does it ungz on the machine also? (Needs more room?) A full extended size print of 5-6days can be sent by wifi? If the file is too big the user gets a warning & some tips to use the gcode on a usb drive?

Files can be up to 600-700MB, compressed size. The file is stream-decompressed, which means it does not need to uncompress the whole file, only "line" that it is reading. So this does not add the need to uncompress the whole file on the printer. Keeping memory requirements fine even for extremely long prints.

Currently there is no size check in place yet. I think Cura 2 still has some issues with files over a certain size.
