How to Enable Print Cost Calculation in Cura?

I used to have print cost estimation enabled in Cura as you see in the screenshot, but I had to change PCs and now I can't find a way to configure this. I already set up material/filament weight and price in the Material settings and activated it, but Cura shows no cost calculation.

I already searched everywhere in both cura and the internets and I can't find a way. It's like it disappeared or I am going mental (So why I have an old screenshot for proof and my own sanity)

If you have an Ultimaker 2, change your G-code flavor to "Marlin". This will give you full control over material settings in Cura, including cost.

I'm actually having the same issue I'm using 2.3.1 The Materials Tab The Information then Properties. All the cost section is Un Usable.. Yes i'm on Marlin. I can edit Everything else as it seems.

Material cost was not properly implemented until Cura 2.4 (or even Cura 2.5, I can’t remember)

My materials have been set correctly as well as my printer. All the settings are correct including the price ones in the material, it even shows me the cost per meter in materials, but Cura refuses to show price calculation.

I have Cura 4.0.0 and to get the cost I have to hover the mouse over the black info ball.

I've already put the total cost next to the filament length for 4.1 (you're not the first to ask for it!)

1) In Preferences>General switch from Euro to Dollar

 

2) In Preferences>Materials set weight and cost

 

3) in Preview click Info for cost summary for part

If you want to bulk-enter the weight and cost fields, there's a neat little plugin to create a CSV file you can edit in your favorite spreadsheet application and import back into Cura:
