New BB print core shows up as AA

Hello,

I received a new BB print core for our UM3 extended. While I have been waiting for this print core I have had the extra AA print core installed in the second print head slot. Now when I change heads the machine still think it's an AA core installed, complaining about incompability with materials etc.

The print core is brand new and the connectors look clean. I updated to the latest firmware while I was waiting for my new BB print core.

Yes, I just tried that and the same thing happens. Must be a faulty print core then, I guess?

It's possible to program it if you are good with ssh. If you are comfortable with ssh send me an email at gr _at_ gr5.org and I'll send you instructions.

Also look at the nozzle itself very carefully. It should have a tiny AA or BB on the nozzle.

Or you can just send it back to the reseller where you bought it.
