Printing problem after a factory reset

Posted · Printing problem after a factory reset

Today I did a factory reset and after that I started to have the following problems.

The printer creates problems after printing the first layer.

The subsequent layers of filling are all detached one with each other.

I tried to lower the current values of the stepper motors first to 1100 mA and then to 1000mA but nothing changed.

Where is the problem?

There are many things that go back to "default" when you do a factory reset including all the steps/mm settings. Particularly, like conny_g, I'm guessing you messed around with Z steps/mm long ago? Does that sound possible?

Alternatively it could be the extruder steps/mm.

I would calibrate both. Move the Z some distance such as 100mm and then check that it moved the correct amount. Repeat with the extruder.
