Bonjour à tous,

 

      J'ai une impression bi-color à faire et je viens de charger du PLA red sur le BB 0.4 et du PLA Silver sur le AA 0.4.

Lors du chargement du PLA Red mon UM3 m'a dit "Il n'est pas recommandé de charger PLA Red avec le Printcore BB 0.4" mais je ne vois pas pourquoi et surtout j'ai déjà eu cette config sans avoir de message d'erreur.

 

Le truc embêtant en passant c'est que du coup Cura ne veut pas se paramétrer par défaut... J'utilise des Profils d'impression personnalisé donc ça va mais je souhaiterais savoir tout de même le pourquoi de cette non-compatibilité ?

    le printcore BB est fait spécifiquement pour imprimer du PVA. Si tu veux imprimer 2 PLA différent tu monte un autre printcore AA sur le 2eme emplacement. Tu dois avoir un 2ème printcore AA livré avec ta machine en principe.

    Oui j'ai effectivement un second PrintCore AA libré avec l'UM3.

    Donc les PrintCore BB sont tous prévu pour fonctionner uniquement avec du PVA ?

     

    Je peux mettre un AA dans l'emplacement de droite de la tête du coup ?

    J'ai déjà fait des print avec du PLA dans le BB, mais si c'est pas fait pour je vais changer de buse... Je pensais que la différence entre AA et BB résidé dans la mécanique de la buse étant donné que l'emplacement de droite peut descendre et remonter.

     

    Si j'imprime du Breakaway c'est avec une buse AA aussi ?

    oui Alex le 2ème printcore est fait pour ca ? par exemple si tu veux faire du bi color il te faudra monter un printcore AA sur les 2 emplacements. Il faut penser à l'activer sur Cura comme sur l'image ci dessous.

     

    Pour le breakaway j'ai vu que ultimaker recommande de l'imprimer avec un printcore AA.

    Effectivement je viens de trouver ces mêmes info (PrintCore AA pour Breakaway) sur le site de Ultimaker et MakerShop.

    Merci pour ces infos, je vais donc monter en double PrintCore AA 0.4 sur ma UM3 ? !

     

    Du coup les PrintCore BB ne servent vraiment que pour le PVA ou pour d'autres matériaux spécifiques aussi ?

    EDIT: Je viens de regarder et le BB est donné que pour le PVA sur ces 2 mêmes site.

    Oui en théorie c'est uniquement pour le PVA, mais bon tu peux imprimer ce que tu veux avec (suffit d'ignorer le message d'avertissement). Enfin dans l'idéal garde la BB pour le PVA et utilise la AA pour le reste, la BB est différente (au niveau interne) et ne sera pas aussi performante qu'une AA pour les autres filaments que le PVA.

        The UltiMaker S7 is built on the success of the UltiMaker S5 and its design decisions were heavily based on feedback from customers.
         
         
        So what’s new?
        The obvious change is the S7’s height. It now includes an integrated Air Manager. This filters the exhaust air of every print and also improves build temperature stability. To further enclose the build chamber the S7 only has one magnetically latched door.
         
        The build stack has also been completely redesigned. A PEI-coated flexible steel build plate makes a big difference to productivity. Not only do you not need tools to pop a printed part off. But we also don’t recommend using or adhesion structures for UltiMaker materials (except PC, because...it’s PC). Along with that, 4 pins and 25 magnets make it easy to replace the flex plate perfectly – even with one hand.
         
        The re-engineered print head has an inductive sensor which reduces noise when probing the build plate. This effectively makes it much harder to not achieve a perfect first layer, improving overall print success. We also reversed the front fan direction (fewer plastic hairs, less maintenance), made the print core door magnets stronger, and add a sensor that helps avoid flooding.
         

         
        The UltiMaker S7 also includes quality of life improvements:
        Reliable bed tilt compensation (no more thumbscrews) 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi A 1080p camera (mounted higher for a better view) Compatibility with 280+ Marketplace materials Compatibility with S5 project files (no reslicing needed) And a whole lot more
