Posted · Bowden Tube Not Comming Out of Extruder Head

I'm trying to remove the bowden tube from the extruder head in order to fix a clogged nozzle but the tube won't come out. I've pulled off the small horshoe shaped piece and im pushing down the piece it was attached to but it won't pull out. I'm applying quite a bit of force that im becoming concerned. Is there any thing im missing or some tip to getting it out?

Is the material already out? and are you trying to detach the bowden tube at the extruder or at the nozzle? I always try to make sure i push the tube down firmly at first holding back the clip and then pulling it out.

The material is out. I'm trying to detach the tube at the extruder. I'll have to try that. I have been able to get it out once before (through a lot of effort) but it appears like it's stuck in there, although I don't know how it could be stuck

Maybe try pushing down the white ring with a suitable size hex wrench, or a ring or similar, so the load is distributed evenly on the ring? And then gently first push and then pull on the tube, and wiggle a bit? But always relatively gently. No brute force?
