Went well, except ...

1/ The wire of the fan does not fit through the boxholes.

2/ It is impossible to close the (white) fanduct. It looks as if the fan is too big.

Any ideas, solutions or should I use duct tape ? :-)

    1. I trimmed the flanges and corners off the connector.

    2. It does work, but it's fiddly. The fan doesn't fit inside it if that's what you meant. I also printed one from thingiverse.

Trimming and some tape seems to work for me.

    - Can someone post a photo on how the fan cables are supposed to be located ?

    - What design for new fan duct did you choose from thingiverse ? There are several.

Wait? The fan cable is suppose to go trough a hole?

I have mine just "flying". Look at this photo at the top:

No problems with it so far.

For the fan shroud, if tape doesn't work. Try to see if you can place the fan on the bed so it blows over the print, with that you could be able to print a fan shroud. The stock fan shroud disassembled itself during my 3th print. I'm not sure why they aren't doing something about it. Must be the most replaced part of the whole machine.

    1) I trimmed the connector just a bit with a cutter.

    2) Mine is ok, no tape needed. I don't feel the need to replace it for the moment. Please note that the fan is placed *outside* the fanduct, in the middle between it and the main extruder assembly.

@Zmaster; You are right, I assembled it the wrong way. The fan is outside the fanduct anyway .

Just take the pins out of the connector and push the wires through. Then reconnect after you get them where you need them (take a picture to make sure you have the right order).

Doing this made getting stuff through the wire looms (kite fabric) a million times easier. Just push on the end of the wire from the side with a pin and pull it out of the connector
