Editing blocks of a model

I am trying to edit how my model gets sliced

For example just the top section of the model to be filled with 100% and the rest of the model to be 40%

The issue I am having is when I select the section to be 100% using the block thingy cura wont slice and responds with an error saying does not fit inside build area and removes the build area frame any suggestions on how to fix this?

If the block is too big, scale it down.

Yes but it's ok now found out what the issue was 

I had the print one at a time checked
