Hi,

I have just installed the Ultimaker 2+ connect firmware 1.1 , and when I load the filament , the feeder loading speed is not fast as it should be , it is loading the filament very slowly as if it is loading filament for printing

anyone can help?

    Hi

The filament loading procedure is different on the UM2+C and you cannot compare it with other UM printers.

When you load the filament, follow exactly the instructions on the display. The UM2+C has a manual load procedure, which means, when you select the menu option to load the filament, you have to open the lever on the feeder and push the filament through the whole Borden tube until you reach the print head. Then you confirm on the display and then the feeder feeds the filament until it extrudes. Thats the reason why the speed is so slow, because it is the speed for extrusion only and not meant to load the filament.
