The filament loading procedure is different on the UM2+C and you cannot compare it with other UM printers.
When you load the filament, follow exactly the instructions on the display. The UM2+C has a manual load procedure, which means, when you select the menu option to load the filament, you have to open the lever on the feeder and push the filament through the whole Borden tube until you reach the print head. Then you confirm on the display and then the feeder feeds the filament until it extrudes. Thats the reason why the speed is so slow, because it is the speed for extrusion only and not meant to load the filament.
In the Cura 5.8 stable release, everyone can now tune their Z seams to look better than ever. Method series users get access to new material profiles, and the base Method model now has a printer profile, meaning the whole Method series is now supported in Cura!
We are happy to announce the next evolution in the UltiMaker 3D printer lineup: the UltiMaker Factor 4 industrial-grade 3D printer, designed to take manufacturing to new levels of efficiency and reliability. Factor 4 is an end-to-end 3D printing solution for light industrial applications
