Posted (edited) · UM3 - Error: Negative capacitance without compensation

Before the printer starts the calibration and rising the bed, an error shows up and the print job is cancelled

This error appears as well when going to:

System > Maintenance > Diagnostics > Bed level sensor

I have tried to replace it for a new sensor but still the same issue

Fmwr vs: 5.2.1620200331

    Hi @MrPla,

I'll think that the "capacitive sensor" is not connected to the "sensor electronics".

Check that the two wires red and withe is properly connected to the "capasitive sensor" pins.

Here is a picture of the open cover in front of the head:

Here you see the two wires going to the "capacitive sensor", check that the wires is properly attached.

Normally you can see if they are open, sometimes not that easy.

By the way, -it is written a lot about this issue herein.. Use google.

    Thanks

    Torgeir

    Hi there,
Anyone could tell me where to find all firmware releases? The links found in the forum are not working anymore, I would like to try this approach as solution to the problem described above...
