Cura Won't Display Printing Temperature

No matter what I try, I can't get Cura to display any of the Printing Temperature settings. Any ideas? I assume it's a bug, but wasn't sure if some setting elsewhere would override Printing Temperature and therefore hide it.

Sounds like you are slicing for an Ultimaker 2 series printer.  On those printers the temperature is NOT set in Cura but instead on the printer itself.  That's why temperature, fan, and material diameter are hidden.  Because they are set on the printer.

I have the exact same problem/issue, I would be great if someone could explain how to change this so I could slice for my printer!!!

What type of printer do you use? As gr5 already stated, some printers have the temperature set in the printer instead of in the slicer. My UM2+ works that way, I can't change any temperature settings in Cura, all of them are managed in the printer with material profiles and in the settings menu while printing.

Is there a way to bypass this?  I never set temperatures on my U2+, I always use my slicers.  I have so many different filament types and brands...  some PLA works best at 205, some are better at 215.  I decide this while I'm slicing.  Taking away this ability just doesn't make sense to me.   Same with my build plate temperature.   I'd like to find a way to restore these features to my cura settings?

    [Edit]

Never mind  🙂    It was as simple as changing the Gcode flavor to Marlin.
