UMS5 Camera Not Working

The camera on our S5 has stopped working in Cura and the Digital Factory.

It initially stopped in Cura but still worked in Digital Factory, but after resetting the printer to try and resolve the camera issue it now doesn't work in both!

When clicking on the camera icon in Cura the window goes slightly grey and no picture is shown.

When clicking on the camera in Digital Factory a black window pops up (images attached)

 

Printer is on Firmware 6.5.1 and Cura 4.10.0. It is connected via Wifi. It is only a couple of months old and has worked fine until a few weeks ago.

I have seen a few mentions of resetting Cura Connect, however we don't have that option on our printer menu. Unsure if that's a regional thing or if it has disappeared in a recent update?

 

Any help would be appreciated.

It would kind of depend on the firmware version your on there has been some significant changes related to networking since that firmware version.

You also want to always be on latest firmware if your actively using Digital Factory.

I would recommend reaching out to UltiMaker Support directly and sending them your log files from your machine.
They will be able to help sort out what the problem is!

on the best day, the camera on the UM5 sucks.

I got a Blink mini and stuck it inside the cabinet above the machine looking down.  Awesome video, super smooth, you can save videos and see them anywhere.

I've had this problem without using Digital Factory, just using the management console. The only thing that fixed it for me (temporarily) is rebooting the printer.
