Switching the nozzle from 2 to 1 and 1 to 2 solved the problem.....it's deep in the support pages online......wish that appeared instead of a short brief on what to do.....acces to complete data is a problem.......

For me it was the sensor and shield wires not connected properly. I removed them earlier because I had to re-solder them due to a failure before. I switched them around and now the printer works fine again. (This was on an Ultimaker 3 by the way)

Are you saying that you removed those wires and when you soldered them back on you did it backwards?  And then you realized the issue and had to reverse the 2 wires back to original positions?

Oh sorry no that was not what I meant. I only re-soldered the wires to the connector pins. I soldered them to the correct points but I switched the two connectors. So I connected one of the fans to the sensor and shield plug.

    So I didn't have to re-re-solder them ^v^"
