sharp edges instead rounded

Does anyone know this problem and ideally a solution or tip 🙂 ...so in rhino7 the model has rounded edges, if i print the .obj through cura on the Ultimaker S5 I get these sharp ones.

What is the layer height you are using here? Perhaps going to a smaller layer height will preserve the radius. When you preview the build in Cura does the transition look as it should?

I think I once read that Rhino visually rounds the models on-screen, but not in the CAD-model? But that was long ago, ca. 7 years...  I don't know if that could be the problem today?

 

Also, try playing with the quality settings for export to STL, OBJ, etc. In some programs the quality can be adjusted from very coarse to very fine. A too coarse setting could also produce this effect.
