Install and run Cura from the Ultimaker website.  Choose any printer since it doesn't matter since you don't have one.  Import a model (usually an STL file).  Click "slice" in bottom right corner.  Then button turns to "save" so click that.

I am making my own scans with a Horus scaner for a BIQU B1Printer. I need to run a Slice of a project.

I have tried to Load my cans in a Cura 5.0 software for a slice and it will not load the project.

the scan is clean, there are a few unconnected bites .

    Can you help?

What kind of file type does the Horus scanner create?  Cura can only take a few file types.  The most common is STL.  Can you get the Horus to create an STL file?

Also usually after scanning you have to do some repair.  You could try mesh mixer (free software) or mesh lab to try to repair any mesh errors.  You should be able to find youtube videos showing how you do this.

Hi guys.  Scanners often create a "point cloud" rather than a mesh.  You may need an intermediate piece of software to turn the point cloud into a mesh.  That mesh could then be loaded into Cura.  We used Rhino back-in-the-day.  SolidWorks may be an option.  Was there any software bundled with the scanner?

That's an unfortunate typo. George meant STL; the other is usually associated with databases.
