Posted · How can I check the compatibility between Tough PLA and TPU95A

Good day guys

I have to print the model (image attached) with Tough PLA and TPU95A (black platelets with Tough PLA and the white matrix with TPU95A). I have checked the compatibility between them in the technical information but it is not supported. Can you recommend me some tests in the printer before to print the final model? How can I conclude that the compatibility is good?

I appreciate your orientation.

Regards.

There isn't a "one size fits all" for material combination testing. I usually use the *actual part* I am trying to print in dual material and tweak settings based on what I am seeing for errors, defects, etc.

It's not a clean-cut science for dual material FDM, but once you get a profile made for this part you can usually use it with minimal changes.
