Posted · Brand New Ultimaker S5 is booting as an S3 model

Hi Guys, 

 

I have just purchased a new UMS5 and when i turn it on it shows the S3 logo. When I visit the about printer setting, it shows as a S3 printer.

 

Would someone be able to take me through rebooting the machine with the S5 software please?

    Looks like a mainboard was wrongly provisioned: https://support.ultimaker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014266440
     

    It should be able to cure that with a firmware recovery: https://support.ultimaker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019088780

    If you don't feel comfortable to do this by yourself, please contact the reseller.

    You also might want to give a feedback through the Ultimaker support system; this will help for QC.
