Some STL files don't open on the build plate.

I have Cura 5.1.1, and "Automatically drop models to the build plate" is enabled, however I have several STL files that are off to the side and I can't get them to place on the build plate. Thoughts, ideas??

Cura will stick a model out at X200 or so if the model doesn't fit within the printable area of the build plate.  If that dog's tail is sticking straight out the back then maybe the model is too large in the Y?

If the dog is actually a pig then I don't know.

    Hey @OkieVet918,

Welcome to the Ultimaker Community 🚀.

Your model seems to be too big to fit on the buildplate.

If you resize your model by changing the values here:

You can reposition it on your buildplate by changing values here:image.thumb.png.aad553373723f01ffe6c45f215a0de65.png

    I hope this helps. 😊
Can you let us know if you are still stuck?

I did that, and it doesn't put it on the build plate. Any other ideas? I appreciate the reply.

Yea, I kind of figured it was that, however resizing didn't make a difference.

    Hey @OkieVet918,

Settings like One at A Time reduce the build volume size.

But to see which of your settings might be influencing your buildvolume we need a project file.

Do you have a project file for us? It contains the printer and settings we need for troubleshooting.
To save a project file go to File -> Save project.
