I am trying to add a new printer in cura. when I go to add a printer it only shows me the printers I already have. see the screen shot below. I deleted and reinstalled cura. still the same. I was trying to go back to 5 and try that but I cant find it. I am on a mac as well and running 5.2.1 of cura. 180732547_Screenshot2022-12-02at5_10_12PM.thumb.png.31bf146b3d5d1d8a674d4865840ab1ae.png

Do you happen to have the plugin "Startup Optimizer" enabled in the MarketPlace?  It simplifies the loading of Cura (to speed it up) and I believe one of the things it does is cleanup the number of printers available.  If it is enabled then disable it and restart Cura and the printers should show up.

It is better to use the "Extensions -> Start optimsier -> Restore all configuration files" option before disabling the plugin. Otherwise, if you at some point re-enable the plugin, your new printer configuration may break (because its definitions and profiles are once again not loaded).

Only when you tell it to though...
