How does the print UM Sample and 3DHubs work?

Hi all,

Recently i received an email from 3DHubs as they were looking for people to print sample for Ultimaker, i then did my test print, and received a nice an shiny badge.

My question is, how does one user request such a sample?

Is it going via support or directly via 3DHubs?

Very good question that I don't know the answer to either... I've replied as well, but they haven't sent me an order yet. Just wanted to pitch in here as a reminder to myself I need to follow this up

I guess they give those samples away at events. Bytheway they have an Utimaker at their office, so they can print themselves too :-)

Hmmm... thought I answered some time ago to this post... :unsure:

The users can order the samples via http://www.3dhubs.com/ultimaker. However, I think it's not very attractive (I didn't receive one order so far, has anybody else?)

no orders yet - but it was fun to do the sample (the gears) and fine tune to get it to work!
