Nozzle temperature - remember setting ?

Cura 14.07, Ultimaker2.

Ultimaker2 -

Is there a way to make the UM2 store my previous (nozzle) temperature setting? Currently it always defaults to 210C each time I use the machine. (I'm using white PLA and find 190C works better - so I have to manually tweak this each time I print)

Cura 14.07 -

There is a speed and temperature panel in Cura. But only speed is adjustable.

Where is the temperature setting?

Kind regards,

Chris

Kind of. You can go to the 'Material' section on the UM2 and then choose 'Settings -> Customize' (or something along those lines, I can't go through the exact steps at the moment as I'm currently printing). In there you can enter your desired nozzle temperature (and also tune other options, if you like). Then when you're done save your modified settings as a custom material type, and select that type whenever you load your white PLA.

That'll do basically what you want, and it's certainly more convenient than manually dialing in the temperature on every print. The only ugly bit is that you don't get to assign a descriptive name to your custom material; it will be named something like "Custom1" and you'll just have to remember that "Custom1 is for White PLA".

@Ignace: The nozzle temperature stays at zero until the print bed gets close to the set temperature this because the nozzle heats up much faster. Also when you go in to the tune menu while print bed is heating up so before the nozzle temperature is set it stays at 0 (even if bed has reached desired temperature) until you leave the tune menu. If you then go back into the tune menu you will see the nozzle temperature is set correctly. Hope this helps :-)

:-O there is a manual? Maybe I should have read it before I unpacked mine and broke one of my limit switches, luckily I had an other one laying around :-)
