  1. you can raise the t° and move the filament separately. Of course if you move it raise the t° but if the temperature is not sufficient to unblock the nozzle? So something where you can set both could be useful..
  2. Thank you gr5 your picture was of great value. Ok i figure it out how to unmount it and clean it. Now it is printing. Could be useful to add a special section on the manual. Furthermore i would like to suggest an implementation of 2 things in the next firmware update: 1) Like the home position for the extruder, a menù that take the centered position to be able to unmount the head easily without moving manually the head. 2) Some kind of unblocking status where the t° is raised to at least 220° (and you do not have to do it manually) and you can easely move the filaments up and down with the control.
  3. ok i solved... but now i have a problem.. the nozzle block (the white one with the springs is too high and i can let it go down pushing the bowden tube... how can i do it?
  4. i'm starting to think that is something related to the filaments..
  5. Exactly what happen to me. Feed issue and blocked nozzle..
  6. tomorrow i will try to clean it better.. But first i need to uncork the nozzle..
  7. yes but i fear to damage the glass... right now i'm using a cutter like this one
  8. as i suspected. What if the nozzle is stuck? what i have to do? Opened this post http://umforum.ultimaker.com/index.php?/topic/3801-always-blocked-nozzle-filament-change/ tried everything but the new filament seems to not move forward..
  9. I was wondering... when the filament is going to end and you are printing, based on the lenght of the bowden tube and the fact that the motor who pull the filaments is at his ends... how a smaller filaments in the bowden tube can go on?
  10. So this is how is inside the material feeder! I was wondering what was for the top hole and now i understand it. In the manual is not described at all and i think should be.. And what wrenches i need to use to regulate it? I tried all three but none seems to works..
  11. Ok, the first time could be a case.... but today i tried to change material and again the nozzle seems to be blocked. So i tried the manual movement of the filament (the one in advanced setting) and nothing.. I tried to raise the temperature.... nothing.. i tried to change the material again removing the filaments... and nothing.. What i have to do to simply change the filaments without pain? And le me ask how is possible to remove the bowden tube to clean small filaments or pieces that can remains in the tube itself? How can i use the red Clamp Clip and a Tube Coupling Collet.
  12. Ok so the glue + hot bed is for super strong stick. Today i made without gluestick and the model was hard to remove too... For small things with the current settings for pla is simple to remove...but for something that has 10x10 cm of base the removing is really hard even without glue.
  13. But the calculation bug affects also the extimation of the ultimaker2? Cause a print that shold be made in 15 minutes my u2 says it will take 3 hours!
  14. No.. the glass is hot and i assure you that does not pop anything at the end of the printing..
  15. Hi, i noticed that the adhesion on the glass of the printed objects of my U2 is really strong! Is something i'm going wrong or it's really so hard to lift? It is related to the amount of glue stick that i have to use?
  16. Well, actually the volume of the object (the real volume not the enclosing) is the most "real" parameter because the weight is based on an assumed density that no one know if is real. That's interesting. I was just asking if there is a way to add a simple field for that kind of calculations.
  17. Daid, Is there a way to add an extimation of the cc of the model? All the lab set the price based on cc and could be more quick to have an estimation of the cc. Something like netfabb..
  18. well it does the click always! it's been a 4 hour print and it always did it... The temperature is 210° as set in the ultimaker for PLA.
  19. i have it approximately every 10 seconds.
  20. He you can find the other photo: https://plus.google.com/116867274133488266077/posts/HQFfoWPtjke So the blob you can see outside in the prints are due to the not "Spiralize" setting?
  21. the quick guide seems to say the opposite..
  22. Ok, in the advanced settings retraction i can't understand if is able or not. Seems that combing is abled.
  23. Hi, i'm printing some kind of jars. What i notice is that the Ultimaker 2 leave some kind of dribble along his way. Not always but often. This happen when cura make some kind of wrong path choice and go from a part to another. The nozzle bring back this slime and at the end of the print i have several slime! Is that normal and how can i avoid it?
  24. I've finally put my hand on my brand new ultimaker 2... and now i'm printing like hell! But there are some strange behaviors that i need to understand. The Material Feeder sometimes seems to lose the grip or to be stuck and go back quickly... it sounds like a strange thing.. i will post a video. Here: P.S. how can i adjust the build plate screw?? which one and where? In the manual there is no such an image to understand it!
