Oui merci pour le site il a l'air plutot interessant niveau prix. Même si je trouve le prix des raspberry un peu haut (surtout que tu dois en théorie payer la TVA quand ca arrive a la douane sauf si tu passes entre les mailles du filet). Je pense que j'irais quand meme commander un ou l'autre truc sur le site pour voir ce que ça donne

Hi all, I'm currently trying some stuff on my UM2 i have a part in mind and the first two designs failed miserably ^^ hopefully the test for my third design will be more successful... Tried to print two things from thingiverse yesterday and the failed too, i have to master those print settings :mad: Except that sunny but cold day here in belgium/luxembourg boring day at work :-|

Well i'll have to stay with my free version of DesignSpark Mechanical that does most of the stuff i want, it's just that i find the solidworks files more sexy

Same here lan ^^ i have the luck that i can install some stuff on my work computer and "work" a bit on designspark mechanical when i'm alone (i'm in a stupid openspace but i come to work at 7am so i'm pretty alone until 8am - 8:30am. By the way i'm wondering how much does solidworks cost?

Pour l'alim je pense que le mieux c'est soit une alim micro usb a part (tu peux prendre jusque 1500mA sans soucis) faut voir ce qu'il faut pour la caméra. Ou alors tu prends un miniHub Usb auto alimenté mais pour OctoPi je suis pas certain que ce soit utile d'avoir plus de ports usb dispo. Sinon le model B est plus puissant et il me semble aussi qu'il a deux ports usb alors que le A n'en a qu'un, ce qui est génant si tu dois mettre ta clé wifi + le cable pour brancher l'imprimante Merci pour le site ca a l'air très compétitif au niveau prix

Hi all, Having a good day also for the moment. I'm at work and i just finished a chat with two colleagues who own a 3d printer (Velleman K8200) I showed them some prints from my UM2 and they are disgusted by the awesome quality :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: I even offered them to print some stuff for them :cool: Can't wait to get back home to test some few more prints day are seeming much longer at work now that i have my printer ^^

J'ai fait une impression a 100 micron hier (un petit cube avec des trous sur chaque face). On ne voit quasiment pas les lignes (peut etre avec une loupe). J'ai fait le meme cube a 60 micron et la différence ne saute pas aux yeux... a la limite je trouve que celle a 100 micron est mieux finie... probablement un réglage au niveau de la température et ou vitesse. So yesterday i cleaned my glass plate and i noticed a little "hole" in the glass. It seems that i have damaged the glass while attempting to get a part off... it's very small something around 1mm or 2. Anyway i washed with water and i used the other side of the plate. At first i tried to print at 60°c with nothing on the glass and the two attempts failed, the print was ejected from the plate by the nozzle. So i applied a little glue made it uniform with a wet cloth. Tried several prints but very small parts. Seems to come off without to much force. Will have to attempt to print something with more contact on the plate to see how it sticks. Thanks for all the advice

Moi aussi j'avais commandé du blanc que je n'ai pas reçu. Dans la boite j'avais une feuille qui m'expliquait qu'il manquait des choses dans la livraison et que ce sera envoyé dès que possible. J'avais également une feuille avec le contenu de la boite et une croix a coté de ce qui manquait (au bic). As tu ces deux feuilles? Sinon envois un mp a Sanders directement (en anglais si possible) il est probablement plus sympa que les gens du support

faut vraiment passer par eux c'est dingue par rapport au 8 a 10 semaines qu'on attend en commandant chez ultimaker directement :eek: En fait c'est eux qui font du stock a mort et nous qui en compatissons (sauf ceux qui commande chez eux) :mrgreen:

J'ai du un peu chipoter avec Cura mais ca fait un moment que je m'y interesse en gros j'ai commandé le 10 janvier et en attendant que l'imprimante arrive je me suis instruit principalement sur le forum donc je savais déjà ce qu'il fallait faire comme réglages pour la température et sortir une pièce correcte depuis Cura. Sinon la première pièce est sortie en moins d'une heure après l'avoir sortie de la boite. Moi aussi j'hésitais avec makerbot, perso je suis pas déçu d'avoir choisir ultimaker. Y a juste le gros délais d'attente qui est un peu lourd a la fin.

Many thanks for all the advises (i love this forum) I will try all that but first thing to do is wash my buildplate correctly relevel it and get my putty knife sharp as a samourai blade One last thing: do you need to relevel the bed often?
