I have not updated my firmware to 6, but my connectivity seems to have fixed itself. I'm guessing it was more to do with our internal networking than the firmware.
We had the same problem printing nylon. The bed seemed to stop moving down overnight and the nylon just kept extruding out until the print ended. Ultimaker had no solution or idea why it happened, they ultimately sent us a new print head with two new nozzles in it. Problem hasn't happened since.
Sorry about that, it's an S3 with firmware 5.8.2. I did manage to connect to it this afternoon, but ONLY when I'm on WiFi. As soon as I connect back to the network with a cable, I lose connection to the printer again.
After updating to the most recent firmware, we have lost the ability to connect to our printer over the network via an ethernet cable (our IT doesn't like WIFI printers). IT seems to think it's a firmware problem and suggests rolling back to the previous version. Is that even possible?
Thanks!
How long does a factory reset usually take on an S3? I just did one to try to remedy a network issue and it's going on twenty minutes now with just "Ultimaker S3" on the screen.
