Also, even though I have checked "Follow and receive reply notifications" in every topic I have followed, I never receive any notifications.

Have you double checked that topics that you follow end up in my profile > following? And have you checked the bell icon in the menu bar for notifications? These notifications seem to work fine on my end, I got a notification from you actually because I'm following this topic.

If you're talking about email notifications, that's something that isn't there yet. We're working on that right now to launch soon.

Thank you for your reply. I was indeed waiting for email notifications. I did find the replies.

Since you are on Team Ultimaker, will you please answer my other two questions I posted in the same topic?

It looks like this functionality will return in the form of a plugin in one of the next releases of Cura.

It should be in the next version, but it would need a bit more spit & polish before it's added. I created the plugin fairly quickly to show how to create plugins from scratch. If anyone feels like making a better interface, please do so. If its good, i'll make sure its in there.

I really wish somebody from Ultimaker would respond to this, and tell me either what I can do to fix this or tell us that this is a known bug and when a fix for this will be available.

Ultimaker crew to the rescue! I've seen this bug before, but i'm not sure if anyone reported it on the github. Could you post it on https://github.com/Ultimaker/CuraEngine/issues? Then one of our engineers will have a look at it. I'm not aware of a quickfix at this moment.

    Hello,

    Many thanks for your services.

I am interested to try different infill pattern or different rastering angle with my Ultimaker2. As Cura doesn't have this option anymore, what would your suggestions be to do so?

    Many thanks,

    Hanifeh

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
