Posted · Solidworks Plugin deosn not work in Cura 4.0

I updated my Cura from 3.6 to 4.0. The UI looks great  on the 4.0  and I also updated the Solidworks plugin. But whenever I try to upload a .SLDPRT file it gives an error message saying "invaild file" . Tried uploading different files. Tried method 1 in the "resetting cura settings". I can upload the STL files but Solidworks files are invalid file type. How can I go about it?

Loading Solidworks files depends on a plugin. That plugin needs to be updated for Cura 4.0. You can find it in the Marketplace, which is accessible through the button in the top right corner of the Cura window.

I mentioned that I updated the plugin and still faced the same issue. Today, it had another update which solved the issue. Thanks.

    No problem.

By the way, since I often don't have the time to check the forum for issue reports of the plugins I maintain, please write me either a mail or check the main thread you can find via search function.

    Thanks!

I'm having issues trying to get the SolidWorks integration plugin to work as well. I am running on Cura 4.3.0. I installed the plugin from the marketplace and then restarted Cura. I go back into the marketplace and view the installed plugins and I see that the plugin is grayed out with no check mark. I check mark SolidWorks integration and restart and the plugin is still grayed out. What is going on?
