Hello all! I have a problem with my Cura slicing. I recently downloaded the latest cura, 4.0 Beta, and started having problems. When I slice a program, from Thingiverse, the machine dwells for up to a minute on the edges and the supports. Thinking my machine was going bad I printed parts I had sliced before and they printed with no problem. I reverted to an earlier version of Cura and still have the same problem. I have been running my Ender 3 for about 6 months with no problems worth mentioning. All of a sudden this happens. I am frustrated. Can anyone provide a little guidance?

    This is a known issue in cura starting at version 4.0 and not fixed yet as far as I know.  It's a feature - sort of.

     

    the fix is to set z speed to 40 or something reasonable - more info here:
