So cura 4.2.1 I think was released today and it fixes this critical bug that caused issues for people with creality printers? Something to do with the z hop feature.

Start G-Code still does not work 😞
Cura 4.2.1 still prepends Bed and Nozzle Heating before G Start Code....
4.2.1 - Each time I launch Cura (Mac OS version), the app crashes unexpectedly, then opens fine when I click "reopen"

There is a 4.2.1 version available in our website (https://ultimaker.com/software/ultimaker-cura). It should fix the issue. Please try it and let us know.

1. Click marketplace (top right of cura, next to sign in)
2. Install Printer Settings
3. Restart Cura
4. Hit Settings on the toolbar
5. Hit Configure settings visibility
6. Search for zoom
7. Enable Z Hop Speed and Maximum Z Speed Travel
8. Under the Speed settings, set Maximum Z Speed Travel to 10 and under Printer Settings set Z Hop Speed to 5
You are a life saver

Hi
I don’t have this option in Cura “Maximum Z Speed Travel” because my printer is a Creality CR-10s Pro. When I go to printer settings this is what I have.
