I don't know anything about the material handler, sorry. I guess I'd try that link I posted earlier.
I have just ordered a new cable, I hope with all my heart that it will solve my problem.
I have also made a request to Ultimaker support.

As predicted, the cable was unfortunately not to blame.
After contacting Ultimaker support, they examined the log files and found that it was the faulty motherboard.
They've already encountered a similar case.
So I have to send the printer back to my dealer.

Okay, let me rephrase this..
That cable must be replaced - it is part of your issues.
The smashed wires will cause communications issues, additionally it causes additional noise that results in issues with the leveling sensor.
