I am trying to create custom supports in Cura 5.2.1. As you can see I need supports under the hands. Here is what I have so far. I have support placement Everywhere and then I used support blockers. My question is how to I get supports right under the hands and not from the top of the arm up to the hands covering the trophy handle?

    Attached is the stl file.

I found the same stl file but with tree support built in. The tree support didnt do too well. Although I guess it could have been a bed leveling issue, but I havent had any issues with any of my other prints and I did recheck the bed all was fine.

Personally I would print it with PVA as support, but I'm guessing you don't have dual extrusion.

My best bet would be to try the tree support, or modeling the support your self.

An other option would be to print the arms separate and glue them on.

@MariMakes This is work correct? In the sense that where the blocks are placed supports shouldnt be built there correct?

    Hey @Beretta031,

I believe what you are seeing is expected.
Support generates in the areas that are red if you look at the bottom of the model.
If a support blocker is placed over these red ares, these areas will not be supported.
In your case support is generated for the hands and not for the trophee handles.
You can read more about it here.

I printed the tree support mentioned above and it came out great.
