I was order a Ultimaker Orginal assemble kit, but the e-mail said that "Ultimaker 2 has a lead time of 8-10 weeks"? Is't my Ultimaker free Upgrade to V2 or my UM assemble kit had delay lead time rom 2-4 weeks to 8-10 weeks?

Finally, I've received my second UM1 (I've bought the first a year ago...).
I "only" waited for 10 weeks...
Well... I wish this great company could resolve these problems that have originated so many inconvenients on their customers.

We're working on it.
Bit of background information. The delivery of the timing-belts for the UM1 where severely delayed. Problems like this suck, and I've heard things about making sure we have 2 suppliers for each part in the future.
It was delayed pretty much up to the point where we considered putting the UM2 belts and pulleys into it. (which would result in a different X/Y steps-per-mm)
("Heard in the hallway" information, no claims can be made on this information. I normally deal with things you cannot touch)

I think ULTIMAKER should manage better the communication with the customers.
We can understand logistical/technical reasons as you expose here: We can't understand the total lack of information.
