I have an Ultimaker S5, with a firmware version of 8.1 or 8.2 (It keeps on giving me update errors so I am not sure).  My Ultimaker S5 keeps on saying it is offline when it has a secure network connection and full signal. Sometimes it will pop back online for a few minutes but the go offline again. I have reset digital factory on the printer and reconnected it multiple times. It works fine for a few days after that but then it goes offline and online sporadically again.

    What your describing sounds like network security restrictions.
