  1. I would urge ultimaker to come out with a "dual feed 1.75" "single extrusion" .4 and such and a much larger dual feed 1.75" "single extrusion" 1.5 ishmm nozzle. I know it sounds silly at first read, but consider that thought for a minute. If you know much about thermodynamics you will see what my point is.
  2. hmmm well I guess as the thread states it is for woodfill and a few others, I am acutally using about 32 rolls of pla pha a month so I think you may have missed the part where I said that I actually like the pla pha materials... lol
  3. Well, some people did sort of win a price like that already. Not from a competition, but from just being excellent members of the Ultimaker community. I want to be able to giggle, I can kinda speak deutsch please please please LOL
  4. I'm talking about the angle and deviation tolerances, I have found that that really increases the quality of the prints with organic surfaces. Adds a lot more detail. (not so much cleanup)
  5. You're welcome :)thanks to community feedback we were able to improve it. Heres a biit of feedback that may not be up your alley specifically but when I reset my password it led me to the 505 error page...but the password did get reset? possibly switch that to a change confirmation screen and when I type in the wrong password on accident it clears the entire user input form so I cant see if I punched in the email portion wrong or the password only clearing the password section would be a bit of a uix boost. Cheers
  6. looks great, what is your poly deviation and angle deviation for that model?
  7. I have Cfxt 20 and I believe you can find my post here https://ultimaker.com/en/community/view/17601-colorfabb-woodfill-testing-and-a-few-others?page=1&sort=#reply-120191 I also will not be using a stainless steel nozzle because I dont want to machine the tiny little nozzle to fit our needs
  8. I like that X ) hahahaha Don't have to be a psychic anymore.
  9. Are we supposed to get notification emails? If I get a hundred emails all of a sudden to my work email I may get pretty upset lmao
  10. Return it an buy it again LMAO (dont do this) @sandervG
  11. Maybe @mendells can comment on what he thinks is the best option for cooling an Olson block? I designed one...and it melted... what is the suggested material for these airflow directing masterpieces?
  12. Maybe! But I'm not yet gonna tell you.. and neither are @KevinMakes or @FrederiekPascal, since apparently they have psychic powers! Since I have psychic powers do I get free olsson block with my previous ulti2 purchase? if you feel so inclined to lay gifts at my future predicting feet I will humbly accept an ultimaker2 extended for home use lmao.
  13. Lmao I know failed prints are because of me. Haahha well mainly because I try to make macros and automation do all my work for me.
  14. hmmm idk but I got the fastest sd card on the market and no more problems. and the total file count on the original sd card was 392. and there was no subdirectories. all in one file.
  15. and it will be waaaay cooler than free filament! 8) The only thing cooler than free filament is free printers I would preffer a visit to the secret R & D site at Ultimaker (with nondisclosure agreement and all that ofc). I would like to have a direct phone number to the owner of ultimaker so I can complain about all my prints that fail. Lmao Jk Ultimaker head cheeses please dont send your complainer-seeking-ultimaker-robots after me.
  16. I am definitely happy with the simpluify 3D product i was just giving fair warning to any perspective buyer that it can be an uphill battle.
  17. I actually love simplify3D I have worked out most of the bugs with the "vase mode" or corkscrew sppiralize whatever mode. I know that it is part of cura and I tried it before but the problem with cura is... 1.) I need Multiple profiles for different types of parts and I need to be able to switch from them very quickly to maintain work flow. 2.) I needed to have a ridiculous amount of control over the infinite settings. And I need to be able to change those settings from the api that I am building from within the solidworks API or via macro (still working on this but very close) 3.) needed a seamless software that allowed me to use dual extrusion 4.) needed to be able to manually jog the machine, print via usb, manually add scripts for tool changing, etc, etc, etc. I have tried Cura, and honestly for personal use I would probably use it but the limited functionality and beauty of cura doesn't really fit in with the production environment.
  18. Well, I know for a fact that if I had to load a 2mil poly count model in any software wit a crap graphics card on a regular basis I would jump from a tall building without a parachute... Thats why I purchased 2 Titan x blacks for my workstation... I only edit models within the range of 60thou tris... my workstation has a few other jems ( msata ssd and 32 gb rram. ) so I rarely wait on...anything so waiting on the list to update for 3 seconds and then when I think it has stopped loading and decide to click on the desired file and find out halfway through the print that it isn't the right one... is...well torture. I have never wanted to forcibly shove my face through an electronic device so much as I did when using the stock sd card fo the ultimaker 2...
  19. I would totally suggest using the corkscrew mode if you can, it cuts out retraction and really...reallly speeds up print times, especially if you use a large nozzle diameter like me, (1.7-1.5mm) You can print decently thick walls ( allow up to 80% perimeter overlap and you can really get some amazing volume/ speed results)
  20. I agree, and I believe that the "support side" of the forum has slowed down due to a dedicated company. However there is a lack of "community". I personally love the forum and I think a lot of purchasers of the ultimaker products would love it too. Perhaps the sales team should make it a point to invite new customers to come view the forum as a way to introduce them to the family and generate an overall sense of support/ community behind the product. I think some monthly competitions, and a bit of self promotion could go a long way towards gaining attention.
  21. I use a 16 gb and i can see all files just fine. As far as the lag, I looked up the read write rate of the stock card, apparently it is the bottom of the barrel worst card available...I dont know if it was just one included by fabbric8 in a time of shortage or what. for those of you who see no lag... I must just be picky because even with the fastest card on the market (the new one we purchased there is still a little lag.) I will post a video...
