Note that due to some changes in the background, all plugins needed to be updated. Not all plugins are available yet. Once they are available, you can update them through the Toolbox.

A more complete list of features is in the great blog post, written up by my friend Matt: https://ultimaker.com/en/blog/52715-whats-new-in-ultimaker-cura-35-beta   An even more complete list

Ultimaker Cura 3.5 | Beta is about to be released and we can't wait for you to try it out and let us know what you think. We've worked hard to pack it with new features, stability improvements and fix

    @boelle This thread is about the 3.5-BETA release, but these last few messages are about the 3.5 (final) release, since people that downloaded the beta will probably also be interested in the full release.

    oki, where would my questions have a bigger chance for getting an answer?

    i have posted one other thread but no luck there either

    otherwise i can only say thumbs up to the software, it has come a long way since i used it last time. I'm just a control freak when it comes to how the code is exported

    I did a performance test on that 3.5 file using Callgrind and got this result: http://dulek.net/work/3.5-beta-callgrind.out.3886

    This seems to point to this change: https://github.com/Ultimaker/CuraEngine/pull/791

    We'll continue discussion there.

    @Ghostkeeper,

    I posted the same a few days back for cura 3.6, as the problem seems to persist. Do jou know if this will be resolved in the future?

    We did some things to improve that, which should be released in 4.0.
