  1. Hello, hopefully you don't mind replying in English, I'll post a translation below;

You can try to heat up the print cores again and try to pull away chunks when the heat reaches far enough. You can also use a heat gun or something like it to start heating it up from the outside. I could also recommend getting in touch with your reseller for instructions and, if not everything can be salvaged, replacement parts. Good luck!

    ---

  2. Hi @tabiznet, thank you for your message.
I'm sorry to hear you seem the Ultimaker is not worth the money. It is possible with any type of equipment that you run into some kind of issue that you need some help with, and that is why we have this entire community of 3D printing experts and our official and trained support channels ready for you. If you have any issues we would be happy to help! Please create a support ticket here, or create a new thread in the forum so we can try and help. If you have any questions about print quality, please include pictures too.

    Thank you!

  3. Hi Kiran,

Thank you for your message and taking your time to share your feedback with us. It's much appreciated!

It sounds like you are using the marketplace right? Have you also looked at the filter on our materials page? That has quite an intuitive filter and perhaps easier to go through. I do believe that the marketplace contains all available profiles, and on ultimaker.com it is a sub-selection of most distinctive filaments.

I believe the filter/search on the marketplace is also still being worked on. Balancing the results of a keyword against a machine compatibility is good feedback. I'll make sure to share this with the team so it's on their radar too. Thanks!

  4. I have received some questions about this form and it might be good to clarify that nothing will be published or shared without your approval. We understand that when you use 3D printing professionally, company policies may apply to you where you can not be making statements on behalf of a company. That shouldn't be a problem.

We can leave the company name out and share your story or quote on behalf of you, the user.

Obviously, if you are just a happy customer without a story to share, please drop a message below and let us know why 🙂

I thought for a second I was looking at the Eventuri business case again! Did you needed to repair or did you boost its performance?

  6. Hi,

That is correct. It is also the case for other UM materials. Due to a technical error these pages can't be fixed right now but the profiles are optimized for the Material Station. So you can use them if you wanted to. It is still some time ahead, but around September that it is scheduled to be updated correctly. It can't be done manually via a CMS or something.

Since the Firmware 5.6.8, the results are much better. At the moment, it's OK for me and my UMS5 works very fine. I hope Ultimaker keeps it up. Then it will even be very good 😉

I am very happy to hear so Roland! 👍

  8. Hi @Jendrik, welcome to the community.

With every product that you buy it's possible that you'll need some assistance from the support department or peers. Hence it makes sense that most users come here because they are in need of some assistance, and luckily we also have a lot of expert users who are capable and willing to help.

So rather of taking the report of an issue as a bad sign, I would look at all the people who are willing to help and the different channels you have as a user to get that help you need. All readily availably. You are free to ask our community of experts, but you can also rely on our partner in your region which we have trained ourselves.

Hopefully this helps to provide some more context, let us know if you have any further questions.

  9. Hola, I've moved your comment to the Spanish section since you wrote in Spanish. The general section contains only English content. Feel free to post you comment in English again, otherwise feel free to continue your conversation here in Spanish. Thank you, have a great day!

  10. Hi @TrueNorth

I see you mention ER65 and inspecting the print core, but there are other reasons why this error can occur. Have you read this article?  If those tips didn't help, did you create a support ticket?

Same goes for this article for ER58.

Thank you for your detailed feedback @UlrichC-DE and your understanding towards the complexities when it comes to such a machine and its integration. Obviously we don't depend or request you to do any testing and you should be able to dedicate all of your time to 3D printing. But in some occasions it can help us identify the issues better and faster, which would benefit your desire to just 3D print. But I suspect and trust our product experts helping you via support are supporting you with this.

    but please change that     icon:)

It has been mentioned twice now, mind your language. There won't be a third. Thank you for keeping the community user friendly!

  12. Hello!

My colleagues at Ultimaker are conducting a survey to learn more about which materials you use mostly and from which brands. The survey will take ~1 minute to complete, so while you're waiting for your Ultimaker to heat up you have plenty of time to fill it out and get another coffee!

    Link to survey

Thank you for your time, it is much appreciated!

  13. Hi,

We’re always busy trying to improve our products and create the best 3D printing experience around. To make sure our products meet your standards, we want to involve you in the development of new products.

If you would fill out this form you give consent to be contacted by us in either of 2 scenarios:

    • Validate product concepts. Addressing concepts at a very early development stage
    • Beta-test new products. Addressing products later in the product development cycle. Usually closer to the release date

By being part of this process, you can contribute to how our future products will work and what features and capabilities they offer.

Interested to help validate or test future products before they are released? Fill out this form!

Fair warning: It is quite a lengthy form, this is so we'll be able to filter for the right type of user for the product we wish to test.

Participating requires a signed NDA. You will receive a copy to sign when we reach out.

  14. Hello!

Are you happy with the value Ultimaker has been able to provide for you or your business? We put a lot of effort into our products and we love to hear back from our customers who are putting them to use. I'd love to share your inspiring or uplifting story with my colleagues, it is a great reward and motivation for our team.

On top of that; if you approve we could also share your story with our followers on any of our other platforms! It doesn't matter if you are using 1 Ultimaker or 10, there is inspiration in everything.

    This could include:

    • our online community
    • our social media posts
    • our blog
    • our newsletter
    • a customer success video, webinar, or podcast

Do you have a story to tell? Let us know via this form! Me, and my colleagues are looking forward to hear from you!

I will always get in touch with you before anything would be shared.

  15. Hello, there are no specific (preventative) maintenance tips recommended for the Material Station. For example, it has bowden tubes just like the Ultimaker S5, which need to be replaced once a year. But the bowden tubes for the Ultimaker S5 are being removed occasionally if you need to clean a print core and for the material station they are not. The deprime sequence should also ensure a clean tip of the filament, which besides the other benefits that it brings, also means it shouldn't scratch the inside of the bowden tube.

The feeder wheel is of a slightly different design so it shouldn't hold any particles, so there would also be no need to clean that.

Let me know if you feel unsure about any specific part in the Material Station. Have a great day,

  16. Hi everyone,

we've received a lot of great input via this thread! Thanks.

Adam initially asked for input for customer success stories but there a lot of ways that we can share stories and we wouldn't want any of your great energy go to waste. Therefor we've created this page

If you use Ultimaker in your company and you are happy? Let us know. Tell us your story! We would love to share it. Many people have told us that would wish to hear more stories from other customers.

We have a few platforms which we can use to share your story:

    • In our online community
    • In our social media posts
    • In our blog
    • In our newsletter
    • In a customer success video, webinar, or podcast

If you fill out the form we can determine where your story would fit best and make a planning. We are looking forward hearing from you!

Do you want to share your experience with Ultimaker? Tell us your story here

  17. Hi @UlrichC-DE, thank you for your detailed reports. I understand you are already in touch with support so they are also receiving this feedback?

I am not entirely sure if the first report was saying that the bowden tube was not inserted far enough, but I also read you didn't trust the couplers; have you ever checked if they are both in spec? You should press down on the collet to be able to pull out the bowden tube. You should then be able to get the collet out of its holder. It should have 4 little metal blades on the inside which are holding onto the bowden tube. If they are not all equal size or if there are not 4, you should get in touch with your reseller and get them replaced.

Your private list of workarounds to make it work sounds bizar. Do you have an idea what switching of Digital Factory does for example? (and by switching off, you mean printing via USB?)

    Bedankt Sander.

Succes!
