Ik ben in de code gaan kijken, en de maximum is berekend op: [Grote van de plaat ] - [skirt of Brim] - 3mm Ik heb net op mij UMO getest: 205 - 0 - 3 = 202 en ik kan inderdaad tot 202mm gaan... Op de UM2, is de plaat 230x225, dus max is in princiep (zonder skirt/brim): 227 x 222... ... Maar omwille van de clips trekt Cura 20mm af (eigenlijk niet, maar hij schuif de object 10mm verder voor de berekening!). Dus komen we op een max van 227 x 202mm (we verliezen alleen op de Y as) Om 210 te kunnen printen moet je dus 8mm winnen, als je Max Depth op 233 (ipv 225) in de Machine setting zet moet het lukken, maar pas goed op, het schuift de center 4mm naar achter, dus de achterklemmen mogen niet blijven staan...

Welke grote krijg je als je een 'Scale to Max' doet?

The version of 'Power' you are using is most probably not compatible with the rest. Have a look at http://umforum.ultimaker.com/index.php?/topic/7577-cura-mac-os-x-sources-compil/, it might help you in getting all things working together on a Mac.

Comme dit plus haut, pour avoir les changements concernant la température, il faut la 14.09.1 (Après les changements ne concernent plus la température)

J'ai été lire un peu le code... Entre la 14.07 et la 14.09.1 il n'y a rien qui peut affecter le Z, le changement principal est la gestion du PID (valeurs de départ et échantillonnage). Après 14.09.1 il y a quelques changements autour du Z-stop qui pourraient (très conditionnel) impacter. Mais je ne sais pas si ces changements ont déjà été distribués (je ne vois pas de commit de version supérieur à 14.09.1). Je n'ai pas d'UM2, je ne peux pas expérimenter, mais il serait intéressant de savoir exactement la version de ton firmware (ça s'affiche quelque part sur l'écran?)...

I used it once, was not too happy about the result (too cold: clogging -- too warm: stringing) and I gave up. I don't say that this filament is bad, but I have not found the time so far to look for the right settings, so I am lazy and use other colors in the meantime But higher temperature (225°C) / lower speed (40 mm/s) definitely helps

I have a spool of blueish white, and as opposed to other ColorFabb spools I have, it doesn't print well under 220°C... So I concur with what have been said so far: try hotter and slower, and it is definitely worth trying another filament to compare. See this example -- both towers are ColorFabb PLA (you can see the temperatures when you click on the picture) the blueish white starts under-extrude at 215°C and eventually clogs the nozzle :

Le mieux est d'enlever le filament à la température la plus basse possible (80-90°C pour du PLA, un peu plus pour le XT). De cette manière on retire pratiquement tout de la buse et on évite beaucoup de problèmes...

Sans plateau chauffant c'est quand même très bof... Ça dépend de ce qu'on veut imprimer, mais ça 'wrap' assez vite, donc si a a besoin d'une base parfaitement plate, c'est pas gagné.

Maintenant, l'installer c'est surtout pour générer un package installable... Si c'est juste pour le faire tourner sur sa machine, il suffit d'avoir les dépendances python (via pip) et installer WxPython pour le GUI, et d'autre part compiler le slicer...

Sauf le vert qui est du XT, tous les autres coloris sont du PLA/PHA de ColorFabb. le jaune est peint directement sur le blanc, sans primer. J'ai fait comme pour mes carrosseries de modélisme: une très légère couche pour assurer l'accroche, laisser sécher, puis repasser dessus. Au total 3 fines couches.

Pour les amateurs de train il faut suivre Daniel Norée sur Twitter, il a de superbes réalisations (Qui est par ailleurs aussi actif sur le projet OpenRC...) Pour ce qui est des aspects mouvements / animation / robotique, plutôt que de récupérer l'électronique d'autre chose et dans l'esprit Open Source de Ultimaker, le plus simple est de partir d'un arduino avec quelques composants suivant ce qu'on veut faire...

C'est un projet pour ma fille qui va les utiliser pour une animation avec des enfants...

Des petits paquets des toutes les couleurs (ColorFabb) Rien d'exceptionnel, mais pour la petite histoire j'avais besoin de 6 couleurs bien différentes et comme il m'en manquait une, j'ai fait 2 jeux en blanc et j'ai peint à l’acrylique. J'avais un peu peur que ça ne tienne pas mais au final ça le fait très bien.

En fait ils font tarif unique... J'ai payé le même prix pour une petite pièce d'extrudeur et pour mon UMO+...

A rant about operating system is not opportune and does not help anybody -- in particular this issue is more about a mess in the python bindings dependencies than anything else. Let's continue to work on this as a community, making Cura a slicer of choice whatever the platform the end user wants to use.

We are completely off topic now, but fwtiw, white PLA gives me headaches... On these towers, I start printing at 225°C, lowering temperature by 5°C every centimeter. Colored PLA/PHA are going down to 195°C without problem, while the white gives under extrusion and eventually get stuck at 215°

If you do not need a brim for adhesion, don't use one But instead increase the size of the skirt in the expert setting, so that the head is properly primed before starting the object. Also I changed my start gcode to extrude a bit more (but I always start to prime manually as Peggy explained)

This is a problem with the version of the python packages you are using... It is a nightmare to have a consistent set of packages -- look at http://umforum.ultimaker.com/index.php?/topic/7577-cura-mac-os-x-sources-compil/, I have something running fine on Maveriks (should work on the Lions a s well)

Yes indeed, UM Heated bed kit comes with a new Z axis, just as the UMO+ The Marlin_UM_HeatedBedUpgrade branch is for the official UM kit.
