  1. Just out of interest, this new merged hex is the same as the Dropbox one? I Downloaded that one this morning before I left.
  2. Many thanks for that amedee! I'll try it out when I get back. I'll keep an eye on this thread and the great work you are doing. Thanks,

  4. Hey guys, If I upload photo to gallery, how do I share it/post it when I write a new post? I can't find a way to do it Thanks,
  5. Hey amedee. I would be eternally grateful if you could compile a version for umo with dual extruded and official heated bed kit! I really want to get mine working, and it's going to take me a looong time to figure out how to compile on my own. Also have a problem accessing GitHub in China. Think there is any way you could help me out?
  6. Yup ditto the above. It's the way I went and have no regrets.
  7. I printed this one: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:175621 The prints with it on we're coming out great. However I printed it in pla and it warped pretty much straight away. My heated bed it broken at the moment, but I've been told by UM that it will heat to 110 degrees and stop, which happens to be the perfect temp for abs! So I'm going to try printing an abs one on Tuesday while I'm waiting for new heated bed controller to turn up. I'll report back on results.
  8. Mine is pretty much the same....probably attributed to the pulleys. However, I've been getting amazing prints straight away, so don't sweat it too much.
  9. Aha! I failed to read that far back in this topic! Many thanks, I'll have a looksee now.
  10. Ah ok, so for my predicament there is no compiler that I can use?
  11. Support are already on the case. I have high hopes for 2015!
  12. Thanks dim3nsioneer, So there is no option for that in the marlin compiler?
  13. Hey guys, I'm trying to use this link to compile some custom firmware for my UMO: http://marlinbuilder.robotfuzz.com/ I have dual extruders and the official Heated Bed Kit. Does anyone know what sensor I need to select for the heated bed temperature sensor? Im (I think if I have understood correctly) then going to enable the line for graphic controller in the hex config file. Thanks for any advice
  14. I'm in for some new pulleys if you run another batch. Guess we need around 10 people? Can we start the interest here (committed interest) 1. Macua85 - full set 2.gizmo999-full set Add name to list - copy this post when adding name to keep on top of list.

  16. Hi Cohen, Thanks for the reply. I've opened a ticked for the issue and new board but not heard anything back yet. Id be happy to return my board for analysis when I have a replacement if you guys would find it helpful? Thanks, Anthony
  17. I don't use the patch lead as I have dual extruders (use the oem power supply for um and the hbk one solely for the bed. I hadn't even commissioned the printer when I installed the hbk, I built the printer with the hbk so definitely not a case of installing with the power on. Installation is also very straight forward. Pretty impossible to get it wrong. Mine also failed randomly on a print. So glad I happened to be sat at computer watching the temps!
  18. Thanks for the replies guys, especially flux, I've sent a ticket to ultimaker. I just hope the defective warranty issues get priority over new orders.
  19. Also want to add, with the exception of this problem, the HBK is a great piece of kit, very easy to upgrade. I was getting some fantastic prints.
  20. I am now is the same boat as flux line. Again very careful and precise installation, with random failure. Identical problem. FYI sander, I submitted a ticked about it. It doesn't seem to be such an isolated case on flux lines behalf now.
  21. Read on another forum something about ramps board(?). Could that fail so quickly, within one day of printing (if that is the cause)? More I read, the worse it sounds....control board failure. This is pretty shitty, for it to last 1 day! I'm so unlucky.
  22. Hey guys, The heated bed has been working perfectly earlier, now it won't stop heating at the set temperature, it just keeps going. Any ideas as to what is wrong? Its brand new by the way. More info, the bed is heating even when I haven't hit print. Something has gone seriously wrong. I haven't changed anything. I have to unplug heated bed to get it to stop. Ok last bit of info, with printer turned off...plug power to HBK in, and the bed starts heating up immediately. Reinstalled firmware, no different still does the same thing. I'm puzzled and disappointed, and not sure what to do! Thanks,
