this seems terribly exciting! just too bad the forum will be offline on the day a major announcement takes place... this is too good to make up :)

but, I'm really excited about it! i have a sneaking suspicion a lot of this is very welcome :)

Yeah i have been waiting for something like this for quite some time and can't wait to see it properly revealed. Looks like the 2go misses out though.

also I reread my post and it makes me come across very ungrateful and bitter. It was not meant that way :)

I was laughing at the irony of me pointing out that communication is key and that there should be better communication and working together when stuff like closing a store is happening.. promptly following by a major announcement on the same day Ultimaker announces that their forum will be offline... oh sweet Irony.. thou are a harsh mistress

    The irony is strong indeed.

2 machines, 1 larger than the other.

I see a shot with pulleys, perhaps direct drive?

Also a shot from the feeding wires?

I guess that this is all for CES 2016, so we won't know much until it's the 5th in USA or the show opens.

I wonder if that's a geared feeder. I would love to buy some for my machines if that's so.

Well, maybe is a 1.75 mm version of UM2-family... And becose of this we see a new feeder and new shroud. If it correct, i really want to see comparsion between old/new versions. Can be interesting.

In case you haven't read it yet, they are :)

An extrusion upgrade pack will be made available later in Q1 in 2016.
