  2. First, check if there are logs on that USB stick written last night. If so, save them somewhere; they might become handy.

For how long did you power the machine off? 30 seconds is probably enough but in case you want to do it again, let it off for 5 minutes or so.

If you have no success, repeat it with both printcores and the spool holder connector (NFC) removed.

If it is still stuck at the same point, there is not much you can do and you should contact your reseller.

The problem is in the generated GCode, WTF are you are trying to do here:

    T0

    M109 S205

    M104 T0 S210

You change the temp to be at least  205, then wait for it to be 210.

M109 waits for the sensor to reach the desired temperature, M104 does not. That can be easily checked e.g. here: https://reprap.org/wiki/G-code#M109:_Set_Extruder_Temperature_and_Wait So it's the other way round and the gcode is fine there.

Also please be aware that third party printer profiles are contributed by community members and Ultimaker will probably only fix such profiles when a corresponding pull request on Github is made.

  6. I would strongly advise not to open the Material Station yourself at this point. You might be well able to solve the problem yourself and reassemble the device correctly but as it is a new product any issue popping up should be handled by official channels in order to get the feedback to wherever it is needed to improve / optimize things.

  7. Third party material profiles have to be modified by the manufacturer for usage of their materials in the Material Station. The important feature for this modification is the depriming. It has to happen in such a way that no strings or small filament parts can be lost on the way out and block the way for the next material. Therefore it has to be thoroughly tested and this needs some time. Afaik brands are working on these modifications.

This being said making your own profile for a third party material is of course possible. But you have to make sure that the depriming works flawless or you will probably face consequences which are outside warranty.

If new independent profiles are not sent to the printer, the problem usually is with Cura. Clearing the configuration folder and letting Cura re-initialize itself usually helps. You can also try to restore a known-good Cura backup.

Print a little tower in the build plate instead of extruding into the room.

That is not possible. The printer does not know when the actual extrusion exactly sfarts. Also the two materials (old and new one) might be completely incompatible. The result would lilely be a mess ON the print bed.

  9. Ultimaker does not announce their firmware updates in advance. When a new version passes the testing procedures currently in place it is usually published something like a day later. If it does not pass the testing procedures we will never know of that version.

Ultimaker is looking into the topic of unnecessary priming in the Pro Bundle. Please keep in mind some priming is necessary to ensure that the printcore is emptied from old material and properly primed with the new material. The amount necessary is logically a bit larger than what you would extrude in a standard S5 in order to be on the safe side in terms of color and material mixing. But if the same material is loaded as was in that printcore during the previous print job one could skip the extensive priming and just make sure the printcore is primed at all. This is what is being looked into atm afaik.

  10. This is certainly not the intended behavior. Please also report it to your reseller; it's important at this stage that any hickups are properly reported.
I assume you checked the according support page on the Ultimaker website ultimaker.com/er61 and already removed the filament correctly from the Pro Bundle.
In order to avoid it in future, I recommend to check the tension on the main feeders (on the printer) and set the marker to the middle if it is not on that setting.
