  1. ah... to much efforts - I just order the right ones :-) Thanks!
  2. Thank you, great work! I will give them a try as soon I can source new bushings. Accidentially ordered 8x12x30... ... or is there enough material to fit the blocks to those bushing dimensions?
  3. Yepp... sadly... but I already started the mill / lathe :-)
  4. I found this example for a switching mechanism for a UM2 a while ago - works with the spring force of the UM2 nozzle springs to secure the position http://www.khwelling.nl/3d.um2s.php
  5. Hi! I´m already in touch with @Nallath and shared at the corresponding GIT issue - https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/issues/1868 :-) Thanksfor taking care!!
  6. You're lucky guys - at my PC it crashes every time I´d like to add a new printer... or my customized printer... so no tests up to now possible...
  7. well engineered design, curiouse to see it in action.
  8. Nice design! Reg. questions - never ask for it :-) How are the dimensions compared with the UMO head (e.g. nozzle position), what about the additional weight and how do you secure the position in the print state?
  9. Hi there! @ nallath, I recognized a weired behavior when drag/drop files into cura. instead of saveing the g-code in the formt [filename].gcode it just cretes a .gcode file without name. Any hints? Enjoy the weekend, greetings :-)
  10. Hi there, @nallath, are there any keyboard shortcuts avalable to switch between Move / Rotate / Scale so that you dont have to click the button every time? regards!
  11. Thanks, that helps a lot in odering the parts... will see how long it takes :-) Maybe until the stuff arrives, this new version is also available. Again thank you for your efforts!
  12. Thanks for feedback! The only thing I fear is that the 303 teeth, 606mm long closed loop belt too short to be clamped with the "beyond V4" block - which I'd like to use to change the upper/lower position of the xy-rods to be able to use something like a "UM3-style" head without interfering...
  13. Hi! Thanks for sharing... Right now ordering the stuff to port my UMO to GT2 belts with an UM2 head setup and corresponding (longer) shafts, so just want to make sure that I order the correct belts. Are 606mm GT2 are ok or do I need 610mm...?
  14. I - more or less - scratchbuilt this one: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:281792 or with more information, here: https://rigid.ink/blogs/news/how-to-join-or-fuse-filament-together
  15. :-) just make the two ends burn/melt and push them together, but not too firm as the melted surface is pushed aside and the hard filement ends stick together without bonding... then trimm the welded area to 2,8xmm with a sharp knife. normally it holds well enough to be used in the bowden...
  16. I built a joiner by myself-there are some nice examples out there e.g. On thingiverse. Low cost and make the job, but honestly, use it seldom as the lighter method is also fine...
  17. DaHai8, you're THE man - as always :-) Thank you very much, I will give it a try tomorrow afternoon (when my wifey is outa home :-) ) @ Zerspaner_Gerd, unfortunately yes as there is no option in a dual setup to heat only the one required nozzle and not both. only workaround is to use a single setup for single prints and there is no nozzle selection possible... so thanks to DaHai8's magic there is again the possibility to select the nozzle on a single nozzle print without manual tweaking.
  18. Yes, that´s the correct one. Awsome that you jump in :-)
  19. I also second this request :-) Unfortunately it's an 15.x plugin... On the short run you could just manually insert a T1 in the header of the gcode, but to make this plugin working again would be great... @DaHai8, is there any chance that you could assist?
  20. Hallo DirkT, sag bescheid, wie die Qualität der gelieferten Wellen ist - bin auch am Überlegen, ob ich meine am UMO tausche. lg
  21. I meant "automatic" nesting - just mark the parts, click "nesting" and they arrange at the smallest possible area - like similar functions in 2D milling/cutting... maybe something based on @chrisSalzburg 's orientation plugin...?
  22. ... so no "nesting" option soon :-) But this might be a possibility for a "nesting" plugin - ehh...?
  23. Guys, where are the material cost and weight settings been saved? n I know, not in the .fdm_material-files, but where else? I´s a bit annoying typing prices for the same material sets in at two PC's... :-( Any hint?
