I do not still do that for hours !
Hi @Gudo,
thanks for sharing all this. I think a lot of people are reading about your developments!
Your last post dates from a few days ago, wondering if you have made any further progress
Looking forward hearing from you!

Many thanks SandervG
Yes, actually I'm still test, always on the PLA since I took advantage of having print jobs to do, before continuing on tests at higher temperatures, I am very optimistic because with the PLA, it is going very well, I had a small problem with the PLA Wood that has rather revealed as a nozzle clogging
I will not fail to communicate on progress
some samples

Wow you sound to be very well stuffed at your work for being able to craft all these things that quick !
Hi to all
thanks 00D00B
after dozens of hours of service whith good print results, a few minutes for checking if everything goes well, a few seconds to unclip the fan sets and voila! screwless print head
the PLA prototype units seems well survive at an average of 210 ° long-time work, except a small heat block contact at the rear of the centrifugal fans duct,
no deformation of the XY support.
the PBI coupler is OK
the print head is very stable, no drift in the 3D axis
It's time now to test other materials at higher temp !

oehhhh, exciting! Sound like great test results!
What do you think the challenges are? How it will affect the heath break? If there will be any friction in the hot end?

@gudo: If you continue with cool things like those here, I'm pretty sure Ultimaker will hire you straight away... Really nice work!

Hi SandervG
sorry, I'm afraid I do not have understood well your second question....
Hi Dim3nsioneer : thanks ! ask SandervG, I think that the manufacturers don't remain insensitive to things happening in the forum
Hi foehnsturn : thanks ! I follow your "multi extrusion approach" thread, you done very impressive works. It's difficult to answer your question, like that cold! but I think it's quite possible to do something more compact for your technical approach.
No we don'tHi SandervG

And since you are changing to PIB for some part of the hot end, that is also where the filament passes and makes contact, no? So, some materials go well with others, some react more and create friction. So I was wondering if you suspect to any of these new, high temp materials could create difficulties with PIB, besides the question if it will withstand the temperatures.
OK ! I suspected before beginning, especially to have friction problems with the PLA on PBI which is not the case, it is known that the PLA was poorly extruded with different materials such as ceramic, peek, or full metal hot end.
I can claim that a full PBI hot end works well with PLA extrusion.
The specifications of PBI claim that no other known technical plastic in melting condition can paste it,
The challenge now is to check it, it can not stick but eventually significant frictions may occur, we don't know, the next tests will allow for see.

Hi to all
Success !
First test at 250° print temp of the PBI with ABS material,
Benchy was printed with the EasyFil from Form Futura
standard ABS material settings of the printer
0.4mm nozzle, 0.1mm layers, 50mm/s print speed, 0.8mm wall/Top/Bottom, 90° bed temp, 25% cooling fan, 3mm retract distance....
No any extrusion problem, no friction issue, the ABS slides better in the Bowden tube than the PLA
The diffilculty was more in the bed adhesion managing and in print temp fine tuning to find the right temp suitable to this ABS filament, I started print fisrt with 260° then slowly down to 252°.
It's not yet the top , but it's quite good print result, it was worth it to catch a good headache because of the ABS vapors, Im not used
Result after a light clean of some small dots with the fingernails,
there are 2 horizontal lines seen on the the third pic,
the first near upper the bed, it's due to the temp tuning from 260° to 252°
the second higher, it's due to a suddenly small warping on the bed

Looks super! But men you finished your bed stabilizer? I want that!! What does it use!? I want that so badly!!
Also great print men!

Hi Neotko! thanks
I 'll share the bed stabilizer STL files, it's needed 2 x 6mm aluminium rods with M6 threaded tips, the bed still stays a bit flexible but much less than before, the system deletes especially all micro vibrations and possible tiny tremors due to the motion of the printhead.
Could it be possible to print the rods in diagonal? Maybe with a flexible material so they also work a bit like a spring? Just thinking out loud.
I really need that for my printers!
Edit: Oh I see... You screw both sides to generate tension and make all the assembly more rigid to avoid vibrations? Interesting indeed
Edited by GuestYes I think ! it could to be printed in one part in replacement of the rod + the tip attach on one side . and the all could be mounted closer to the side panels to avoid a potential collision with the print head.
Edited by Guestsorry for spelling and grammatical errors, I'm not awake this morning
Looks really good!!!
That looks superb
