Received my box of Fab filament today, 4 in total to try out

Cruster, Ive only had my printer a week or so, you`ll be amazed at the ease getting prints out that look that nice. I have made a few items now with counter sunk holes everywhere, and so far, I have not had to drill out anything manually to use them. Tomorrow you`ll find out. Hopefully there will be a few of us UK`ers meet up soon too, if your up for a pint

Hey Mr W. Im hoping that its just not beginners luck. Infact, knowing that some users have reported degradation over time, I have just placed notes in my diary to re-test this piece once every two weeks....forever, until I see a noticable difference.

Wow Cor thats pretty cool !! Proper bling bling lol. I almost bought some of that faberdashery bling, just so I could print some jewellery to keep the g/f from moaning that I spend more time looking at the UM2

OK here it is, printed 230. Man! is scary isnt it ? This was my second time around, first time skipped at 5ish, but I am 99% certain it was a dodgy coil in the filament ( i heard that scratchy noise when it pulls and witnessed the skip mark immediatly ), I changed nothing.... and started again. So..... Got to 9mm & 10mm before there was any visible "errors", you can see these within the lettering and next to the squiggly line on the left. Not a bad effort though...Wipes brow! Edit. PS Why didnt someone put a base on the bottom of it, atleast I could use it as a cup

Woofy... man thats dissapointing :( Give me a few minutes and mine will be complete ( i hope ) second time around

Hey Cruster Yeah I looked at those guys before buying from Imakr. As usual in Britain, we will have 1mm of snow and it will be a standstill haha. Exciting day for you tomorrow

Cruster Ultimaker can print holes that float in nothing but air... yknow

I do use mine, however I think it could be better placed on the machine to allow a better entering angle into the feeder ;/

Have seen this process many times before but never even considered using it on printed parts ... awesome

I will try the test later after work. At the moment I am getting better results printing PLA at 210-220max, I will try the 230 and edit this later with results.

The guy that has designed those ninja plates is a contact on my linkedin page, maybe I`ll ask for samples

Every day is a school day for me at the moment, learning what I can about 3D printing. Thanks to Cor3ys a few days ago, I learnt that Faberdashery filament is delieverd " unspooled ". I have just ordered a bunch of filament from them, and I have just printed a few parts for the filament spool holder that Cor3ys alerted me too.

Good Evening I have just ordered 100 quids worth of filament from Faberdashery ( I know I am boring, just black & silver )... do you have any recommendations to printing settings or just experiment similar to how I print at the moment with standard ultimaker PLA ? Some of thier colours look great, glow in the dark green ! Edit. Ps, I dont really know what i`m doing yet with any PLA lol

I will get that model later and give it a try over the coming weekend, will let you know if I have any level of success lol

Make sure you don't over engineer everything and make it all too complicated. The more things included means more possibility of breaks lol. HULK condoms... I need that size
