  1. Pardon pour mon ignorance mais c'est quoi TAZ. Ça fait quelques fois que je le vois mais je sais toujours pas ce que c'est.
  2. I did that last night. I makes a good difference in the noise during retractions.
  3. Nice! https://www.3dhubs.com/trends?utm_source=Trend_report_mailinglist&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=trend_report_january
  4. Not needed for Flex pla. Can help ninja flex but if you pre unroll the material I find it works well enough.
  5. You better do it in pla. I found this explanation pretty good:
  7. Those this work? http://support.ultimaker.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit
  8. dont use the bed leveling procedure. Just tweak the screws
  9. You dont need to register to the support. Just click on submit a ticket directly. The glass plate issue as nothing to do with the firmware. The bed leveling issue as nothing to do with the firmware change. You redid the bed leveling too close, you just have to adjust it. If your initial layer is 0.2mm then the initial layer height should be 0.2mm thick and 0.4mm wide (depending on your nozzle size). Some user got issues with 14.12 and 14.12.1 for other issues so I recommend not updating but it doesn't mean it will break your glass plate.
  10. Just received it. OMG what a difference. Now I'm tempted to do the same with the side fans.
  11. Yeah I've seen other having that issue. Maybe you had a small scratch and the XT just got really into it. You can contact support to get a replacement glass or get one from the store. https://shop.ultimaker.com/product/60/Print-Table-Glass Turn the glass around in the mean time.
  12. Hi Sam, Can you provide a bit more info about your print settings? Speed, layer height, nozzle temp. Try printing slow and at low temp. With a layer height of 0.1mm and speed of 30mm/s you can put the temp around 195-205C. If you have the default UM2 fan mount I suggest you turn the model 180 degree so the overhang part get better cooling (the left side cool bethe than the right side).
  13. You need to align your view to the screw top which is under the build plate. From the screw head point of view it is turning clockwise to lower. But yes the addon make it fool proof even for me
  14. That simply mean you did your bed leveling to close, the nozzle is now to close to the print bed. Start a new print and adjust the level using the 3 screw (clockwise will lower the bed). Well applied PLA should be removed once the build plate is back to room temp. I think the sign saying you can remove your print wait for the nozzle only to cool down. I can sometime ear the piece pop out when near room temp.
  15. Can you provide a bit more info? Did you do the firmware update? Did you redo the bed leveling? Maybe your initial layer setting changed in Cura. What is the value now? What do you mean to the detriment of the quality of the print? High adhesion is usualy good.
  16. Yes is was resolved for RepRap marlin but don't know if it will be for TAZ4 https://github.com/daid/Cura/issues/850
  17. Hello, Joining in a little late (3 days of stacked new topics and replies ). Yes the layer number could be added. Also please check the resulting gcode afterward to make sure the swap of layer and the tweak at z interact well together. I had cases where the other plugin would get dismissed due to the swap. There should be no real problem with the second nozzle but unlike the first nozzle, the material amount will not be adjusted to take the swap into account.
  18. Ma solution dans le passé pour un gros print: Maintenant j'ai du 3DLac que j'applique et je garde le lit a 80 et c'est merveilleux. (http://www.3dlac.com/)
  19. Daid, can you add that link in the Cura download page or on your github page? I always look for it using the forum but I guess it would be useful for some.
  20. Hi Raymond, Welcome to the forum, The print time is calculated in CuraEngine. CuraEngine is the c++ slice engine used with Cura. Try looking for when its writing "Print time:" result and track it backward in the code.
  21. Robert, are you referring to the slicing progress bar under the save icon? It shouldn't steal the focus. If the slicing is blocking your inputs that have been reworked a little on 15.01 version to be released. Some users had issues with Cura locking while the slicing was starting to update. I need to start using retract while combing more. Nice feature chart Stefan! I definitely need to take example on your updates Would be nice if updating plugin settings would not restart the slice since it doesn't need to. The plugin should just require the output version of the slice and provide an updated one afterward. That would save A LOT of time... Adding that to the to do list on my side .
  22. It's something I see quite often. Could be good to add some display of active plugins somehow.
