You have to keep the collet down while removing the tube, it is made to prevent pulls If you just use a finger nail or so to keep the collet pressed against the feeder, the tube should come out without too much resistance. -

Without a bowden in there it's pretty easy to remove that, just pry a little -
3dcase on 3dhubs you can earn badges to be shown on your hub. The UM badge is apparently actually verified and review by the ultimaker user after you print something they assign. I got that planetary gear thing

As with the ultimaker badge, I replied to participate but they didn't react to it. The UM badge I really wanted so I wented after it. The FairPhone... Meh

Autodesk just released a piece of software that will help you to add some "tubing" to your model to run wires or other stuff through. It's called PipeDream.

Toont nog maar eens aan dat ze een uitstekende support hebben. Makes sense ook, als er veel support bij betrokken is en die is elke keer 1mm dan is het een hoop polygonen om te renderen

Vreemd. Wat voor modellen hou jij je dan mee bezig zeg? Ik heb nog nooit echt vertraging geweten. Integendeel, ik vind het hele preview gedoe van S3D gewoon veel vlotter werken bij mij.

Didier, you don't place them. If you make sure you have an outside "fake edge" for every color (thus so that each of the models has a perfectly identical size), all you have to do is leave the model in the center of the buildplate. Cura will print everything in the perfect location. Just remove that outer edge between colors, like Dirkels mentioned.

Vergeet niet de temperaturen in te vullen ipv de <BED> en <HEAD>. Enige nadeel vind ik dat je geen variabelen kunt gebruiken, want zo staan temperaturen er vast in. Dus als je met zwaar afwijkende dingen bezig bent moet je effe het script ook aanpassen.

3dcase: Daar heb je wel een punt. Ik ga hem gewoon zeggen dat hij de print die hij nu heeft mag gebruiken. Als hij droopt zoek ik wel naar een andere oplossing. Bedankt voor de antwoorden.

Hey allen, Ik had voor m'n vader bibendum afgedrukt, omdat hij daar zo'n grote fan van is. Nu blijkt dat hij die graag in de auto aan de achteruitrijspiegel zou willen hangen. Helaas is de print in PLA. Ik kan me best voorstellen dat de eerste keer dat het wat warmer is, het in plaats van een "korte dikke" heel snel een "smalle lange" gaat worden. Hebben jullie enige advies van een filament dat ik kan gebruiken (wit of opaque) dat auto-temperaturen kan weerstaan?

Leon: Geen. Dat is gewoon een stukje G-Code dat uitgevoerd wordt wanneer hij naar de volgende laag gaat (indien het ingevuld is). Ik had je beloofd dat ik je de start/eind code die ik gebruik voor S3D zou bezorgen, maar ik moet daarvoor in mijn backups duiken dus kan zijn dat het pas morgen of zo is. (Als je ze nog altijd moet hebben). Ik had wat crashes op m'n macbook, had hem geherinstalleerd om te proberen het zo op te lossen, maar het blijkt een hardware probleem te zijn. Dus ja, enige computer... inkomen... zitten we daar weer mee.

Omg Zoev89, don't apologise at all! I hope your kid is alright! To the UM people that sacrificed their free time to show us how to take apart a printhead: Thank you, it was a very informative session. I really hope that at least that part of the filmed material will be put online soon

Korneel indeed: Just bring a bunch of whatever is most likely to break quicker. Would love to know how we can pay for them (would a wire transfer be cool?) That way I don't have to come there with way too much cash in my pocket :sad: And should we bring some "tinker tools"?
