During prints we find that our newer model (U on side) s5 screens occasionally go black and unresponsive. They finish printing but then become unusable until switched off and on again with the power switch. Older model machine (robot on side). Can this be remedied?

I'm finding that Digital Factory is very unreliable. Printers show up as offline, recent history erases, lock ups.

I find Cura runs slower the longer the session has been running. Again on high spec machines.

Hi One of my printers recent history in digital history has disappeared and new print jobs are no longer being recorded. Digital factory does not seem like it can be relied upon lately as a serious tool.

Adding a good bit more grease to the Z screw seems to be helping a lot for us. Maybe it damps out the bed a little?

Hi We have two newer Ultimaker s5 machines which very frequently fail on auto bed levelling. I have manually levelled the bed a number of times but this does not improve the situation. The older machines we have never fail on auto bed levelling. Is this a case of a bad recent batch of sensor boards?

Hi Thanks for replying, yes this is what I have found myself doing but wasn't sure I was using the most appropriate workflow.

I have a project open, I slice then send to a connected printer. I want to then quickly switch printers in the project and send the same print to that printer. Trouble is when I switch printers the project settings change. Is the a way to freeze the settings?

I updated the firmware to get the machine back on to DF. I eventually rebooted the machine which seemed to clear the block so I could get another job on it, but I will try removing and reconnecting to DF and see if that helps in future. Thanks

Yes confirmed removal and printer displaying ready to print on its screen. Mobile app shows failed print with a big X. Digital factory says failed awaiting clean up and any further jobs sent from Cura just get queued.

I can't send a new print to the machine or reprint after a failed print. This message is displayed in Digital Factory: Failed, Awaiting Clean-Up.. What is this clean up that needs to be done?

My printers have all suddenly gone offline from Digital Factory, is this a common problem?

I had problems on Cura 4.9 with material retract on extruder 2. It seemed that the material was retracting on extruder change but was not going back ready to print. Going back to Cura 4.8 rectified the problem.
