NYX Gallente Supercarrier, from EVE-Online Online Game
By Ronan
Converted files into a 3D printable one (original 3D files once converted have very little details, just 'rough' geometric shapes). Ended up 3D printing it on a UM3 + very quick paint job. Was on a tight deadline for a friend's birthday. Ended up being around 11" long.

Spiral Vasen
By zpm3atlantis

Pangolin!
By gr5
I printed this Pangolin for my 24 year old daughter. It will be the Mascot for her engineering team. I printed it low quality (.2mm layers) and at 90% scale from the one on thingiverse. This is really a well designed and easily printed model. Fully articulated. Support is already built in and should be disabled in the slicer.

Just a test on my end. Have fun and do as you will
By kmanstudios
Fractal based model that was copied out and flipped. Then did the merging in Cura to test limits.
This is referenced in this thread: https://ultimaker.com/en/community/39753-2color-print-booleaned-in-cura-24. It was an experiment so I thought I would upload the model so that others can replicate it. Or not.
I did this in Matterhackers PETG Pro series. But feel free to try any you want. I went with PETG to set things in Cura. But mostly because it would show if there were any Boolean errors. It did an amazing job of Boolean ops that would choke my Autodesk products.

Diatom frustule
By thalassa
Campylodiscus hibernicus is a single-celled freshwater algae in the diatom family. It makes a glass frustule (shell), which is printed here. I started with an STL file kindly shared by Jamie Perrelet from http://www.fractalteapot.com/. I imported the file into Meshmixer to generate supports, which were printed in PVA. This type of object is best printed on an SLA printer, but the Ultimaker handled it pretty well. I'll try to tweak the orientation and print it again.

Small Shelf unit featuring pillars.
By LesHall
Here is a display shelf for small 3D printed objects. I decided to spend less time creating art and engineering type objects (still a lot of that) and more time creating functional items with an attractive presentation like this columned shelf unit.
At only 125mm wide, it is best suited for small to medium sized objects, short ones on the bottom shelf and room for taller ones on the top shelf. The back of each shelf plate has a 90 degree bend for accepting some of that putty that is used to stick posters and what-not to the walls. My hope is that this putty will be strong enough to hold the shelf with items displayed on it, and I think that will be the case.
The pillar / column design is recalled from several flashes of imagery that came to my mind recently, so my personal take is that this is divine inspiration. My take on that is we all get these epiphanies that are meant to communicate something to us and it is best to focus on them to try to discern the meaning of the imagery. 3D printing provides those of us who can't draw with a very good way of expressing what we've seen so others can share what they know about the object.
