  1. lol, that is exactly the feedback I just got from the developer lets see how that works
  2. Can you describe the desired algorithm for me, like pragmatically? What is 'not every change'?
  3. What about the second option, to receive one email per day?
  4. I remember during testing that they were saved. If it sometimes acts differently I have yet to quantify that behavior.
  5. Thank you for mentioning, I will see what it means. What topic was the email / message pointing you towards?
  6. Me and a colleague had a similar issue with a certificate on Safari. But different colleague right next to me didn't. In the US it seemed to work fine, we are still looking into what the exact problem was. I am on El Capitan 10.11.6, suggested was updating the software but I didn't get around to it yet. Safari was version 10.1.2. We're still looking into this one..
  7. Perhaps it slipped your attention, but there is a color difference between old and new notifications. Old notifications are dark grey, new notifications are light grey. Except when you have clicked the bell, they all turn the same color, which I can indeed imagine, can get confusing. I'll see what I can configure. Thanks!
  8. Thank you, and it has been! ..Luckily there were lessons learned and I had a great team to work with!
  9. ahh yes, you've asked such a thing and I replied. But I think my understanding of your question was as precise as it was just now. I thought you meant the follows on topics, like in the top right corner. I did not realize you were talking about existing notifications pending in your bell, so to speak. My apologies. In general, I think this forum will do a much better job allowing you to set up your notifications and keeping track of them for you.
  10. But if there is a file, 'go to downloads' would make less sense because there is no screen you would go to. I think if there are more files to be added, it would all make more sense. I also thought of this, but given the variety of files you can upload, and you can upload different files this would become difficult to set up in an information efficient way (I know we all love that around here). Something we have to think of on what will work best. Also curious how this functionality will be used in the first place, and we will go from there.
  11. Hi @Remus Dobri, thank you for your post. I sympathize with your passion for teaching and helping kids. However, the address for such requests is not via the forum. I would recommend to get in touch with your local reseller and talk with them. Good luck and hopefully you can provide for the kids what they need.
  12. This has little to do with the migration I think. In the past, people could upload a screenshot and this was the '3D print'. This was the only file attached in the database, the file linked to YouMagine or Thingiverse was not hosted on our servers. Looking forward, it is allowed to upload photo's still, but also gcodes, curaprojects and small stls (there is a max file size). This should bring some more diversity to the file(types) you can download. On the previous forum environment we had a couple of hidden forums when we held closed beta's. This forum does not support private forum categories, but it does support private clubs. So when there is a need for a new closed beta, this will be held in the clubs. This holds no further functionality for users. Maybe not, but I think it could be a nice reminder. Not sure if everyone read it previously. I'll keep track if it gains pageviews and can decide accordingly if it has a purpose. Perhaps yes. I can put a review step before, figured I would first see if it would get abused. It is relavitely easy to delete all content from a spammer. And with all the eyes we have on our forum, they should be caught pretty fast. Same goes for new registrations by the way. Previously they required moderator approval, as an experiment this is no longer necessary and users can post right away. But they do have limited accounts and flood control. When flagged as spam, they can not post anymore. I hope this makes the onboarding easier for new members Thank you for sharing your feedback!
  13. I also didn't sleep, but for different reasons Happy to hear you like it, it was quite a project! Thank you for the kind words.
  14. Can you be more precise? Your specific notifications of posts you replied to previously? Just looked at your recent activity, one of your recent replies here and you still seem to be listed as a follower. Did you not get a notification from something? (I do know that migrating notifications was not easy, for example some forum categories have been merged or split up (Cura & Marlin = 2 topics now) and some notification frequencies we supported (weekly emails) are not supported by IPboard. So down those lines there may be some changes indeed. Our apologies for any inconvenience.
  15. When I clicked your link in your DM I just landed on the calendar, so I'm not exactly sure what is wrong. You are allowed to make events, if for example you want to host a user group meeting. Re the @-list, you mean the autofill? Not sure if this can be configured, but I usually know who I want to tag and it may help with preventing a typo. I'll look into it..
  16. We are recounting them on the background, looks like we are at 47,9% as we speak. I guess you were one of the early ones When at 100%, everyone's should be accurate.
  17. It means that new members can learn and grow to become experts themselves. It doesn't say anything about who is welcome or who isn't. It is a compliment to the level of knowledge everyone has here.
  18. I am going out on a limb here, and finish your sentence..'...because it works so well?'
  19. Posts is going to be recounted, so you should have your right amount soon. Thanks!
  20. Yes, that is not how it is suppose to look, but I'm happy to say it is fixed already Thanks for reporting!
  21. I fall victim to that one too, luckily it is relatively easy to upload a new profile picture. On the top right you can access your profile, if you do on the top left you see your avatar with a button to upload a new photo. Hope this helps, thank you for your feedback!
  22. Good to hear, make sure to let us know what you think after you've taken a deeper look
  23. I'm happy to announce we've successfully migrated to our new forum Let us know what you think!
